Frequently asked questions
How do I care for my flowers?+
Fresh-cut stems last longest in clean, room-temperature water. Trim about an inch from each stem at a 45° angle when you receive your bouquet, refresh the water every two to three days, and keep the arrangement away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and ripening fruit. With this small ritual most Hana Studio bouquets stay beautiful for 7–10 days.
Do you offer same-day delivery?+
Yes — orders placed before 12:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Saturday, go out the same day across our Lower Mainland delivery zones. Orders received after the cutoff (or on a Sunday) ship the next business day. You'll receive an email update once your bouquet is on its way.
Can I customize my bouquet?+
Absolutely. For one-off custom arrangements, fill out our Custom Floral Inquiry — share the recipient, occasion, colour palette, and budget, and we'll design something one-of-a-kind. For weddings and larger events please visit the Wedding + Events page instead.
What areas do you deliver to?+
We deliver across Greater Vancouver at a flat $35 — Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Surrey, Langley, Delta, and White Rock. Abbotsford and Chilliwack are available for $55 due to the longer route. Full details live on our Delivery page.
Do you use floral foam?+
No. Floral foam is a single-use plastic that doesn't biodegrade, so every Hana Studio arrangement is built with eco-friendly mechanics — chicken wire, kenzan pin frogs, water tubes, or simply a well-cleaned vessel. Beauty without the waste is part of how we work.
